“Learning to deal with conflict within the relationship rather than the absence of conflict makes relationships strong and lasting.” Jeanette O’Hagan Facebook byte
“There is an art to giving criticism as well as receiving it. Perhaps criticism is akin to pruning. A judicious pruning shapes the rose bush, strengthening it and encouraging it to flower in abundance. A too vicious and careless pruning might stunt the bush and even kill it.” Jeanette O’Hagan

God at Work
“Each miracle writes for us in small letters something that God has already written, or will write, in letters almost too large to be noticed, across the whole canvas of Nature.”
C S Lewis inĀ Miracles
“Even in the darkest situation – let’s give not give up hope. Our God is a God of miracles – some big but more often small, daily miracles of renewal, hope and love. Besides we are still in the middle of the story – both personally and God’s bigger plan.”
Jeanette O’Hagan 29 August 2013
The Call to Mission
Recently, I’ve heard passionate messages on building community by “staying” locally and long term in a transient world and the priority of “going” out with gospel into the far flung nations. Perhaps it’s not “going” or “staying” that counts but being missional whether we go or stay and engaging in and building community whether we go or stay? And most of all – in hearing God’s call.

C S Lewis Quotes
I love the CS Lewis quote from ‘Miracles’. It’s when God gets close and personal that we know He really loves us. His small print isn’t likely to scare us; it’s not a rider to mess up our contract with Him, but it is a love note from Him. Wonderful.
Love.
